Auch Frankfurt hat seine Perlen, nur muss man wissen wo. Das „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“ ist eine solche Perle, vor allem für diejenigen von uns, die Liebe zum Detail, authentische deutsche Küche und gemütliche Atmosphäre groß schreiben…

Inmitten der modernen Neubauten des Frankfurter Europaviertel befindet sich auf einer Grünfläche das Restaurant „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“. Mit seiner außergewöhnlichen Holzfassade scheint es wie ein großes Gartenhaus, als zentraler Treffpunkt der jungen Szene und Familien des umliegenden Viertels.
Innen begeistern mich vor allem das Einrichtungskonzept: viel Holz, eine offene Küche und das „wie zu Hause-Gefühl“. Die gemusterten Wandfliesen in Kombination mit den bunt zusammengewürfelten Stühlen harmonieren und schaffen Gemütlichkeit. Durch die großen Fensterfronten kann man den neuen Wohn- und Bürogebäuden quasi dabei zusehen, wie sie aus dem Boden sprießen. Bei gutem Wetter kann man von der schönen Außenterrasse den Blick genießen.

So much love in the details

War ich bisher nur zum frühstücken dort, kann ich sagen, preislich nicht besonders günstig, sind jedoch die Zutaten und Gerichte von sehr guter Qualität. Das Bircher Müsli ist köstlich und die Backwaren werden von „Zeit für Brot“ gebacken. Sehr ernst genommen wird im „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“, dass das Auge mitisst. Das außergewöhnliche Geschirr, das Besteck liebevoll eingeschlagen in Stoffservietten und die hübsche Tischdekoration mit frischen Schnittblumen – da kann es nur noch schmecken!
Zwar liegt das Restaurant für den „zentralen Frankfurter“ etwas abseits, doch warum den Besuch nicht mit einer Radtour verbinden? Der neue Stadtteil ist in jedem Fall interessant.
Da das „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“ bisher gastronomisch in dem sich im Aufbau befindenden Viertel noch recht einsam ist, ist es stets gut besucht. Eine Reservierung würde ich in jedem Fall empfehlen.

Also Frankfurt has it’s hotspots, you just have to know, where to find them. „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“ is such a hotspot, especially for those of us who appreciate the love of details, authentic german kitchen and a cozy atmosphere…

In the center of the very new quarter of the Europaviertel in Frankfurt you find the restaurant „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“ in a little park. With it’s remarkable wooden front it seems just like a big summer house as a meeting point for the young crowd and all the families of the surrounding area.

Inside the restaurant I’m very much into the interior concept: lots of wood, an open kitchen and especially the „like-home-feeling“. The pretty patterned wall tiles combined with the mixed variety of chairs create a coziness. Through the big windows you can literally watch the new apartment- and office-buildings growing out of the ground. When the weather is nice you can enjoy the view from the nice terrace outside.

So much love in the details

As I have only tried out the breakfast so far, I can tell that prices are not the cheapest, but the quality of the dishes is very high. The Bircher muesli is delishious and the pastries are provided by „Zeit für Brot“.

And that you eat with eyes first is taken very serious: the pretty table decoration, fresh flowers and fabric tissues – it can only taste good!

Because the area is still being built up, there is not a lot gastronomy around and „Laube Liebe Hoffnung“ is quite lonely. I recommend to book a table in advance, even for breakfast.
